The Trip-of-the-Month Club is limited to 400 tickets with monthly draws for trips throughout the world, as well as cash prizes. Tickets are available from club members starting in September of each year. Mark your calendar for next year! We thank Getaway Travel for planning these trips and helping the Club sell tickets. Million Dollar Hole in One

This event for the whole family is held the second weekend in September at the Uxbridge Historical Centre lands at Durham 8 and Concession 6. For 2010, from Wednesday September 8 to Sunday September 12, you have the chance to score a hole in one.

There are prizes for the top 10 golfers closest to the pin each day, a Ladies’ Day on Thursday and a Youth Challenge on Saturday. Buy advance tickets and get 10 extra balls for free!

Million Dollar Hole-in-one finalists 2009

At the exciting final on Sunday, score a hole in one at 150 yards and win $1,000,000! In 2008, Uxbridge’s Brad Hickey won a trip to Whistler. Come out this September to see what you can win. Thanks to Heyes Landscaping for making our “hole and fairway” look so great.

Scrap Metal Day

In the spirit of Earth Day we held our first annual Scrap Metal Day last April at the Uxbridge Arena. It was a success – we helped you dispose of 8 containers of scrap metal and 1335 car batteries! We hope to do it again this year—save up your scrap metal and watch for the announcements for April 24, 2010.

Brooks Farms Rotary Day

The good people at Brooks Farms opened their amazing farm yard/playground last September for the first annual Rotary Day where a portion of the day’s proceeds came to Rotary. Watch it this September—it will be bigger and better!
