The Rotary Club of Uxbridge

Our Projects include and support many different opportunites and locations: RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), ESIS (Economics of staying in school), Bi-monthly Blood Donor Clinics, Support for Co-op awards, Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for Seniors, Skateboard Park for Uxbridge Youth, the local Youth Centre and the Lucy Maud Montgomery Society. Support for Dignitas International and the Special Olympics (2008 in Port Perry) are among our continuing initiatives

We also support international endeavours such as Polio Eradication, Rotary Youth Exchange, supply of medical equipment to hospitals in Argentina and South Africa, providing funding for 10,000 desks in Costa Rica, Disaster Relief around the world and our major "Bicycles to Malawi" project.

Our current major fundraising events are:

• Million dollar Hole In One (annually in September)
• Trip of the Month Club Tickets go on sale in the Fall for the following year
